Linkos brand v3 is live — new mark, new chrome, sharper everything
We shipped a top-to-bottom refresh: new editorial chrome, two official link-page templates, a brand studio for power users.

Today we shipped Linkos brand v3 — a top-to-bottom refresh of how the product looks and feels on the public side. Same engine underneath. Sharper everything on top.
The short version: new mark, new chrome, two official link-page templates, and a Brand Studio for power users. If you opened linkos.bio yesterday and again today, you'll feel the difference before you can name it.
What changed
Four things landed at once, on purpose. We wanted the whole surface to move together instead of dripping out updates that would each feel like polish.
- A new mark. Same emerald you already know, but the geometry got cleaner — tighter joins, more confident terminals. It reads better at 16px and at 600px. We kept the lockup so existing screenshots and embeds don't break.
- New editorial chrome. Instrument Serif for display, Inter for body, JetBrains Mono for the small metadata bits. Less stock-photo creator-economy. More editorial gravitas. The marketing site now feels like the product looks when you customize a page properly.
- Two official link-page templates. Brand v3 Light and Brand v3 Dark. Both ship with the new type system baked in. One click to apply to any page on any plan.
- Brand Studio. A standalone power-user kit for teams that want full control over typography, color tokens, and component spacing. Rolling out per-user — the waitlist is live at linkos.bio/pricing.
Why we did it
The v2 chrome was fine. We could have iterated on it for another year and shipped features.
v3 is honest about what Linkos actually is. It's not a "link in bio" tool for vibes — it's the chrome around the most clicked URL most creators have. That URL is doing real work. The page around it should look like it's doing real work too.
The old design also leaned on patterns we'd outgrown — gradient buttons, generic creator stock photos, a tone that didn't quite match how serious creators actually present themselves. v3 takes the gradients off the buttons (they're still there, in the right places) and puts them back where they belong — atmospheric, in the background, supporting the content instead of competing with it.

What's new under the hood
A few things that aren't visible but make the public site sustainable:
- Design tokens. Every color, type ramp, and spacing value is one source of truth. Brand Studio reads from the same tokens. New templates can be assembled in hours instead of days.
- Faster paint. The new chrome ships ~30% less CSS than v2 and uses zero icon fonts. First Contentful Paint dropped from 1.4s to 0.9s on the marketing pages.
- Better accessibility. Contrast ratios were re-checked across every surface. Focus states are visible everywhere. The Dark template hits AAA on body text.
What's next
Brand Studio rolls out per-user over the next few weeks — if you've already signed up for the Pro plan, you're at the front of the line. Beyond that:
- New official templates monthly. We're shipping one new branded layout every month for the rest of 2026.
- A redesign post per tool. Every shipped free tool gets a write-up in the v3-redesign series at linkos.bio/resources — what changed, why, and what we cut.
- Open brand assets. A downloadable brand kit (logo, type, color tokens, sample lockups) lands later this quarter for partners and press.
If you're shipping your own brand refresh, the 2026 link-in-bio playbook gives you the same scaffolding we used — the questions we asked, the cuts we made, and the templates we landed on.

A note on the rollout
Existing pages were not auto-migrated. If your bio page is still on a v2 template, it stays on v2 until you choose to switch. The Brand v3 templates show up in the template picker today — applying one takes a single click and is reversible.
If you're a Pro user with a custom theme, nothing changed. Your overrides take precedence over the new defaults exactly the way they always have.
